Demonstrate Love

Can you remember when you were dating?  There’s nothing like watching people fall in love.  They walk with a spring in their step.  Their countenance is shining, and they can’t seem to spend enough time in this new relationship.  I have heard it said, “Love is blind,” and in working with couples, I find that is true in many cases.

Jerry and I try to prepare people for marriage by getting them in touch with reality, but it is often difficult for them to truly see their fiancé’s faults.

It doesn’t take long after they say, “I do,” for those little things that were so cute before the wedding to now become irritations.

You may have made the perfect choice by marrying your spouse, but learning how to love him/her is key.

God made husbands and wives different for a reason.  If both spouses were the same, one of them would be unnecessary.

Learning how to love each other’s unique and quirky personalities is so important to make your love last forever.  It's also essential to identify what your spouse's needs are and discover how to meet them.
